I first started working with Lisa last January, 2010. I was considerably over weight and I hated exercise, but I really wanted to make a change. I was determined to create a healthy lifestyle for myself, but I didn’t want to do it by trying fad diets, or extreme exercise programs. I had multiple health problems including asthma and high cholesterol.
Lisa introduced me to weight and circuit training, and has kept me driven toward my health since then. With her support and the support of the women I have worked out with, I have managed to change my life, my habits, and my out look permanently. Being healthy has become a natural way of life for me, and the exercise I have learned is fun, empowering, and always new. I was encouraged to challenge myself, but was never put in a compromising position of pushing my body beyond it’s abilities. Lisa is very careful to meet her clients at their physical level and gradually build up their endurance and strength so that they can try new and fun exercises without the explicit risk of injury. She has a broad knowledge of how the human form is meant to move and function and how to build strength on many levels. If you are just starting out or if you are wanting to jump back into a program, Miracle Fitness is a fantastic place to begin!

I have never worked out with weights, always resisting the indoor atmosphere of a gym, but when Miracle Fitness offered an outside early morning fitness class, I thought I would try it. At 72 years of age I am fairly fit with regular hiking and yoga but was concerned I would not be able to keep up with the class. Lisa made sure I was always doing the exercise correctly, with my body aligned for the exercise, and was encouraging and an excellent teacher. I felt safe taking this new step in exercising later in life and look forward to continuing on my exercise journey with Lisa.

Getting in shape has never been successful for me until now. Sports, Classes, Gym Membership and I was never in shape. I am full of energy now, stronger and my size is what I wore in Junior High. I am a 36 year-old mom of 2 and have been attending Lisa’s Small Studio classes for the last 15 months. Before I met Lisa, I used to gripe about walking around the block and was too embarrassed to go to a gym being 100+ pounds overweight. She introduced me to her version of strength training with intervals and I have been hooked ever since! Short workouts with amazing results and all in the privacy of her studio.
